A tragic car accident occurred in County Armagh, Northern Ireland, on Friday night.

A 16-year-old boy is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a car crash on the Sturgan Road in Camlough.

Two other male passengers in the car, aged 17 and 18, also suffered injuries but are not in a life-threatening condition. Police are investigating the cause of the crash and appealing for any witnesses who may have seen what happened or have dash-cam footage to come forward.

The road was closed for several hours following the crash but has since reopened.
