This information was provided by JAMB's Public Communication Advisor, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, in a statement released on Sunday. Dr. Benjamin revealed that 322 candidates were reclassified under examination misconduct, bringing the total number of such cases to 431. These candidates were found to have not personally appeared for the exam they registered for.

He also mentioned that the 2024 Direct Entry (DE) registration period has been extended, concluding on Monday, June 17, 2024. The board carefully reviewed the UTME process and identified significant non-compliance with standards at certain centers, leading to the rescheduling of 24,535 candidates.

The supplementary exam is specifically for candidates from Kwara State College of Arabic and Islamic Legal Studies (CAILS) and Kwara State University (KWASU), as well as 2,702 candidates whose biometric verification failed.

Dr. Benjamin added that JAMB has expanded the DE registration points beyond its Professional Registration Centres (PRCs) in Lagos, Osun, Kwara, and Oyo to accommodate the increased number of candidates. He emphasized JAMB's commitment to maintaining standards while supporting qualified candidates.

Candidates can check their results from June 1, 2024, by sending "RESULT" to 55019 or 66019. Those rescheduled for the supplementary exam can print their examination notification slips from June 4, 2024, to find their designated exam centers.
