Governor Usman Ododo's administration in Kogi has recovered no less than 53 transformers as part of their ongoing efforts to combat crime in the state.

The individuals responsible for this crime were apprehended in Obajana while en route to Lagos.

A statement from the Governor's Special Adviser on Media, Ismaila Isah, highlighted the progress made in enhancing security in the state, including the interception of the stolen transformers and the subsequent arrest of the criminals involved.

The statement also mentioned that the criminals provided valuable information that led to the capture of a member of their gang in Ilorin, Kwara State, and the alleged recipient of the transformers in Lagos.

Governor Ododo reiterated his commitment to eliminating crime in Kogi and pledged full support to security agencies to ensure the safety of residents and their property throughout the state.
