Joy Bishara, one of the Chibok schoolgirls who were kidnapped by Boko Haram in 2014, has announced her engagement to her Caucasian lover, James.

Bishara, who is now 27 years old, posted photos from the engagement on her Instagram account on July 25.

She revealed that her fiancé popped the question while on his knees.

James had proposed to Joy Bishara on the beach in the calm and coolness of the scenery.

She wrote:

“I said yes to Love, laughter, and happily ever after with my best friend. James exceeds everything I ever prayed for. God’s faithfulness amazes me daily. I am overjoyed to be starting this journey with the love of my life. Mr & Mrs Loading….”
