Albinism is a hereditary disorder that results in a reduction of melanin, causing pale skin, hair, and eyes.

Ogunsi recounted a disheartening encounter with a director who suggested he abandon his acting aspirations because of his condition. The director questioned the feasibility of an albino actor in the industry, stating, "Why do you want to be in the industry, do you see any Albino in the industry? Why do you want to be an actor? Can you see anybody with albinism? It is not something you should do." Despite this, Ogunsi remained resolute in pursuing his lifelong dream.

He embraces his albinism as a unique trait that sets him apart in Nollywood, viewing it as a special quality that contributes to his niche in the industry. Ogunsi believes his presence in films brings a distinctive and valuable element to storytelling, highlighting the importance of inclusion and diversity.

Ogunsi's journey has inspired others with albinism who aspire to become actors. He encourages them to pursue their dreams, saying, "Albinos come to me and say they want to be actors, and I tell them, ‘Go for it. Make it happen. Go and do it.'"

Known for his roles in popular films such as Gangs of Lagos, Mokalik, and Adire, Ogunsi continues to be a significant and inspiring figure in Nollywood.
