Governor Babagana Umara Zulum has withdrawn the nomination of Dr. Ibrahim Yusuf Ngoshe as a commissioner in the Borno State House of Assembly.

This leaves 17 nominees for the position of commissioner, down from 18 originally nominated.

Zulum had previously submitted the names of all 18 nominees, including Ngoshe, on July 28, 2023.

Further details regarding the vacancy left by Ngoshe's withdrawal will be released if needed.
