Renowned Yoruba actor, Tajudeen Oyewole, popularly known as Baba Abija, has caused a stir on social media after making a heartfelt appeal for financial assistance.

The 66-year-old actor, beloved for his iconic roles as a traditionalist in Yoruba cinema, revealed his dire situation in a viral TikTok live session.

With a heavy heart and tears in his eyes, Baba Abija solicited financial help from his followers, offering blessings and prayers in return.

The emotional plea has sparked an outpouring of support and concern from fans and colleagues, highlighting the struggles faced by veteran actors in the Yoruba film industry.

While pleading with his fans, he said;

You will not be trapped by the evil people of this world. You will not live alone,” he said in Yoruba in the TikTok video
