Nigerian singer Oxlade has made a remarkable promise to reward the courageous woman who protested against bad governance with an empty pot.

The woman's bold move has inspired Oxlade to offer her a whopping N1,000,000. He took to his Twitter page to plead with those who have her contact to connect her to him, saying:

"I want to meet the woman who came out to protest with an empty pot! I want to surprise her with N1,000,000! Please, if you have her contact, connect us. Her courage is inspiring, and I want to reward it."

Oxlade's gesture comes after Nigerians took to the streets on August 1, 2024, to protest against bad governance under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration. 

The woman's empty pot symbolized the hunger and frustration felt by many Nigerians.

Victor Osimhen, a Nigerian footballer, also expressed his support for the protesters, saying, "I stand with my people in their quest for better governance. The courage shown by the woman with the empty pot is a testament to the resilience of Nigerians."

Oxlade's promise has sparked a wave of kindness and generosity, with many calling on others to follow his lead.
