Despite Robert Lewandowski's brace, the Catalan side couldn't secure a win.

"We created chances, but couldn't capitalize," said Barcelona coach Hansi Flick. "The team showed spirit, but we need to improve our finishing."

AC Milan took an early lead through Luka Jovic, assisted by Christian Pulisic. Pulisic then scored himself, doubling Milan's advantage.

Barcelona struggled to cope with Rafael Leao and Samuel Chukwueze's pace.

However, Lewandowski's first goal, a long-range effort, sparked a Barcelona resurgence.

The Polish striker equalized in the second half, courtesy of Victor's assist.

"We dominated possession, but couldn't create clear-cut chances," Flick added. "We need to work on our attack."

The match ended 2-2, with Milan winning the penalty shootout. Despite the defeat, Flick remains optimistic.

"The tour was valuable for our preparation," he said. "We'll take the positives and work on our weaknesses."
