Covenant University Student's Baffling Interview Goes Viral: 'Liverpool is a Country, CU is in Edo, Benin'

A recent interview featuring a Covenant University student has left many stunned and questioning the institution's academic standards.

The student, who claimed to be a graduate, displayed a shocking lack of knowledge, stating that Liverpool is a country, not a city.

"I'm a graduate of Covenant University," the student proudly declared. However, when asked about her alma mater's location, she responded, "Edo, Benin."

Egungun, the interviewer, pressed further, inquiring about her degree status. The student replied, "I'm not done with my BSc, but I'm a graduate."

The exchange has sparked widespread ridicule and concern about the university's academic rigor.

Liverpool, as many know, is a city in North West England, United Kingdom, not a country. Meanwhile, Covenant University is a private Christian university located in Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria.

Adding fuel to the fire, rumors are circulating that Bishop Oyedepo, the university's founder, increased school fees after receiving divine instruction. However, this claim lacks credible sources and media coverage, casting doubt on its validity.

The interview has raised questions about the university's academic standards and the student's credibility.

As one commentator noted, "This is a classic case of 'I'm a graduate, but I don't know what I'm talking about.'"

The incident has left many wondering if Covenant University's emphasis on spiritual growth overshadows its commitment to academic excellence.
