Renowned Afrobeats artist Patoranking is grappling with unimaginable loss as his sister, Chioma Obasi, and her husband, George Obasi, succumbed to a tragic explosion at their home.

The heartbreaking incident occurred shortly after the couple celebrated a housewarming and their child's birthday.

Media personality Cutie Juls broke the news on Instagram, sharing a video of the aftermath and revealing the devastating details.

"Remember when I posted last week or so that his (Patoranking) sister passed away in a gas explosion incident in their home and the husband and child are battling for their lives in the hospital? The husband also couldn't make it. He just passed away."

Cutie Juls praised Patoranking's efforts to save his brother-in-law's life, saying, "Patoranking tried so much. Buying tons of blood to help save his brother-in-law's life so at least his nephew won't be an orphan." She also urged friends to support the grieving artist, saying, "Remember he loves his sister so much. Abeg, his friends should help check on him."
