Hamster Kombat, the popular tap-to-earn crypto game on Telegram, has announced its Season 1 rewards will conclude on September 20, paving the way for its highly anticipated token launch and airdrop.

Players are urged to level up before the deadline to optimize their HMSTR token allocations.

As stated in the game's in-app screen: "Season 1 ends on September 20. Your progress and achievements will be converted into HMSTR tokens."

The Hamster Kombat team clarified the token distribution criteria in a community post: "A snapshot of players' in-game achievements will be taken at 6 pm UTC on September 20."

Assuring players, they added: "A second season of rewards will follow after the airdrop, allowing continued participation."

HMSTR tokens will officially launch on The Open Network (TON) on September 26, with players eligible to claim their tokens via airdrop.

With over 300 million players and 94 million active users in the last month, Hamster Kombat's token launch has sparked excitement and concern. 

TON Core developers acknowledged potential technical issues due to the large-scale airdrop: 

"We are aware of the possibility of network disruptions caused by the HMSTR and CATI token launches on September 20."
