Following the recent clash between Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, and the General Overseer of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries, Lazarus Muoka, has sparked significant online discussions.

“If you had power, your two wives would have been alive. You lost your first wife in 2010”-VeryDarkMan slams Pastor Muoka

This dispute emerged after VeryDarkMan publicly criticized the church for sharing controversial miracle claims that he found implausible.

In one notable case, a church member testified that bullets fired at him didn't penetrate, and even a machete couldn't harm him because of divine protection.

VeryDarkMan dismissed these testimonies as "fabricated miracles" and demanded an investigation by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).

In response, Lazarus Muoka issued a stern warning, claiming that VeryDarkMan would face the "wrath of God" if he continued to attack the church and its teachings.

Muoka implied that VeryDarkMan was inviting divine punishment by speaking against the Lord's Chosen ministry, suggesting that anyone who challenges God's anointed leader is bound to face severe consequences.

The back-and-forth between VeryDarkMan and Muoka has garnered widespread attention, particularly because of VeryDarkMan's growing influence on social media platforms.

Known for his bold takes on issues surrounding religion, governance, and societal injustices, VeryDarkMan has built a reputation as a vocal advocate for accountability and truth.

This dispute with a high-profile religious leader like Muoka only added fuel to the fire, especially as netizens on X (formerly Twitter) took the matter further by mocking the claims of miraculous protection with sarcastic comments and memes.

Aside from his ongoing disputes with Muoka, VeryDarkMan has also been involved in several other controversies, including allegations of corruption involving Nigeria's Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and cross-dresser Bobrisky.

These ongoing legal battles and social media confrontations have only amplified VeryDarkMan's presence in public discourse.

According to Verydarkman, He said “"If you had power, your two wives would have been alive. You lost your first wife in 2010 and the second one recently. You for just wear them una Chosen apron and dem for no die.”

Ultimately, this heated exchange highlights the tension between traditional religious authority and modern-day influencers who are unafraid to challenge institutions.

As the drama unfolds, it raises broader questions about the role of skepticism, freedom of speech, and accountability in religious matters, particularly in a country like Nigeria, where religious beliefs hold significant sway.

VeryDarkMan and Lazarus Muoka saga underscores the growing impact of social media personalities in questioning and reshaping public perceptions of religious practices in Nigeria.
