The Oyo State Police Command has announced the arrest of a 25-year-old herder, Muhammadu Bello, who allegedly killed his employer, Yay Mohammed, buried his corpse in a shallow grave, and fled with 20 cows and 14 sheep.

Bello was paraded at the state Police Command Headquarters in Ibadan, along with 32 other suspects arrested for alleged involvement in various crimes such as cultism, armed robbery, and impersonation. According to the police, the herder was arrested in Iseyin on September 22, 2023, after being on the run for several days.

The Oyo State Police Command has revealed that a 25-year-old cattle herder, Muhammadu Bello, has been arrested for allegedly hacking his employer to death with a club inside the Soku forest, in Iseyin Local Government Area. It was further reported that the suspect fled with 20 cows and 14 sheep belonging to the deceased.
