Nigerian music executive, Sam Larry, has released a statement denying that he owes singer, Mohbad, money.

He stated that contrary to the singer's claims, he had paid him the sum of two million naira to perform at his mother's burial but the singer did not show up. He also accused the singer of blackmailing him and making false allegations.

In the statement, Sam Larry further stated that he will be taking legal action against the singer and his manager.
