London North Eastern Railway (LNER), Avanti West Coast and Northern Rail have all issued travel warnings due to flooding and damage to overhead electrical wires caused by Storm Babet.

Train stations like King's Cross are experiencing severe disruption and crowd control measures have been put in place to cope with the large number of passengers trying to travel.

The bad weather is also affecting road travel, with some major routes closed due to flooding.

The aftermath of Storm Babet has continued to wreak havoc across the UK, with thousands of people left without power, dangerous floodwaters and four people reported dead.

The storm has hit eastern Scotland the hardest, leading to a rare red weather warning being issued by the Met Office. Meanwhile, in England, there were more than 250 flood warnings in place, with major incidents declared by Suffolk and Derbyshire county councils.

In Aberdeenshire, officials are still searching for a man who is believed to be trapped in his vehicle, which was caught in floodwaters.
