The Dutch government had said that cell phones, tablets and smartwatches will no longer be allowed in classrooms in the country from January 1, 2024.

The Netherlands has announced this on Tuesday, in order for them to be able to limit distractions during lessons.

It has disclosed that devices will only be allowed if they are specifically needed, for times like during lessons on digital skills, for medical reasons or for people with disabilities.
