An emotional video surfaced showing a Nigerian man packing up his belongings from their shared home overseas, while sharing advice to his fellow countrymen about the risks of sending their wives abroad.

The video, captured by one of their children, captured the man discussing the challenges in their marriage.

The man, who remains unidentified, expressed sorrow over his wife kicking him out of their home and accusing him of threatening her life.

He revealed that he had sold off his lands worth N47 million to support his wife's law studies abroad.

“I sent you abroad to come and read law. I did everything. I sold my lands so you can go to school and this is what you can do to pay me back.

“You go call social worker on me, say I dey threaten your life,” the heartbroken man said in the video.

The man cautioned others against making the same mistake and advised against sending their wives overseas.

In the video, the wife did not dispute his claims, instead insisting that he leave and pack his things, citing that living abroad had made her wiser.
