On Monday, August 14, 2023, Olanike Adebiyi resumed her new role as the Permanent Secretary of the State House in Abuja.

Adebiyi was formerly the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation.

In her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the State House and ensuring that it functions effectively and efficiently.

Adebiyi brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously held several other senior positions in the civil service.

Her appointment was approved by President Muhammadu Buhari, who has expressed confidence in her ability to excel in her new role.

In a statement released by the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, the President said: “Mrs. Adebiyi is a seasoned administrator and her experience in the public service will be of great benefit to the State House.”

The appointment of Mrs. Adebiyi is part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen and reposition the State House to effectively deliver on its mandate.
