Emeka Rollas, the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), disclosed that Junior Pope's mother has expressed distress over the circumstances of her son's death.

Junior Pope, along with four other crew members, tragically lost their lives on April 10 while traveling by boat to shoot Adanma Luke's upcoming film, "The Other Side of Life."

Rollas highlighted the concerns of Junior Pope's mother, who hails from Cameroon, suggesting that she believes her son's death was not accidental but possibly a deliberate act.

Rollas emphasized that these suspicions were sparked by rumors circulating on social media.

In a statement, Rollas said, "I met with his mother yesterday, and she is troubled by the rumors online suggesting foul play in her son's death. I assured her that I was also meant to be on the boat."

He further stated, "Anyone claiming that CPR was not performed on Junior Pope is lying. He was retrieved lifeless after being submerged for over four hours."
