The Arewa Youth Ambassadors have reaffirmed their commitment to holding a nationwide protest against economic hardship on August 1, despite potential intimidation.

The group blames the current economic crisis on the President Bola Tinubu-led government's harsh and anti-people policies, citing the removal of fuel subsidies as a significant contributor to the suffering of Nigerians.

Comrade Yahaya Abdullahi, speaking on behalf of the group, emphasized that the protest is a constitutional right and a necessary response to the government's failure to address the country's problems. He called on Nigerians to join the protest, which will continue until the government reverses its policies and addresses the economic hardships faced by citizens.

The group's statement highlighted the importance of justice, transparency, and accountability in governance, warning that the absence of these principles will lead to disharmony, frustration, and eventual collapse of the social system.
