Arsenal Football Club began their Premier League journey with a well-deserved 2-0 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers, thanks to impressive goals from Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz.

The Gunners' manager, Mikel Arteta, praised his team's performance, saying, "It's a great start, and we're happy with the three points."

The match saw an early dominance by Arsenal, with Havertz scoring the opening goal following a precise cross from Saka. Despite their lead, the Gunners struggled to seal the win, allowing Wolves to gain momentum.

Wolves' debutant Jorgen Strand Larsen's header forced a spectacular save from Arsenal's goalkeeper, David Raya, showcasing the visitors' determination. 

However, Arsenal capitalized on Wolves' poor finishing, with Saka doubling the lead with a powerful shot past goalkeeper Jose Sa.

Raya, named Player of the Match, ensured Arsenal's clean sheet with a crucial late save from Pablo Sarabia, securing all three points for the Gunners.

"We knew it wouldn't be an easy game, but we showed our quality and determination," Arteta said. "We're pleased with the result and look forward to the next match."

Arsenal's victory demonstrates their continued form from last season, where they finished second. With this win, they set the tone for a strong Premier League campaign.
