Magistrate Court in Ikorodu has mandated Wunmi, the widow of the late Mohbad, to undergo a DNA test for his son, Liam.

This development was disclosed in a statement signed by Monisola Odumosu, a member of the legal team representing the Aloba family, on Wednesday, April 17.

Joseph Aloba, Mohbad’s father, filed an application requesting permission to serve Wunmi by posting all of the lawsuit’s originating documents and other documents at her last-known address. The statement mentioned that Emmanuel Oroko’s legal team argued that the sheriff had made two unsuccessful attempts to serve Wunmi with court documents regarding the DNA test.

The Chief Magistrate has consequently granted the order for Wunmi to be served by posting the court process at her last known address, considering it as constituting good service and ensuring her awareness of the pending lawsuit.
