The song, which was performed live at Davido's wedding to Chioma on June 25, 2024, and released on the same day, had gained immense popularity among fans.

However, the music video, uploaded on July 19, 2024, is no longer accessible on Davido's YouTube channel due to copyright claims.

The audio of the song remains available on BoyPee's official YouTube page, but the video's removal has caused a stir online.

According to sources, Davido is not credited as the official artist on the YouTube page for the song, adding to the confusion.

It appears that the original version of "Ogechi" was created by a different artist prior to the remix by BoyPee and his collaborators.

"I'm surprised by the development, as I thought we had cleared all necessary rights," said a source close to Davido.

The removal of the music video has sparked a debate about copyright laws and the importance of proper clearance in the music industry.
