In a recent development, former Super Falcons striker, Desire Oparanozie, has been granted honorary membership of the Imo State Football Association.

The prolific striker took to her social media page to announce the news and expressed her gratitude for the honor.

In her statement, Oparanozie said, "I am honored to have been conferred with the honorary membership of the Imo State Football Association. I am grateful for this recognition of my contributions to Nigerian football and the Nigerian women's national team, the Super Falcons.
