The Election Petition Court sitting in Kaduna recently dismissed all petitions against Senator Lawal Adamu Usman (Mr LA), who represents Kaduna Central in the National Assembly.

The ruling was made on the grounds that the petitions had failed to prove the alleged non-compliance with the Electoral Act and over-voting in various polling units.

The court also upheld the nomination and sponsorship of Mr LA by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
