Nigerian comedian, actor, and singer Elvis Poko has given controversial musician Portable a 24-hour deadline to refund his money after failing to appear at a concert, breaching their contract.

Elvis Poko took to Instagram to issue the ultimatum, stating he won't involve the police but has instructed his lawyers to seek a refund.

Portable was scheduled to perform at Elvis Poko's "Waterside Boy Tour Live In Concert" in Warri, Delta State, on June 30 but didn't show up, and hasn't refunded the payment he received. Elvis Poko has given Portable 24 hours to refund the money, emphasizing his commitment to resolving the matter amicably as a "real-life person".

Elvis wrote:

“I personally instructed my Lawyers to not lay any claims for damages or compensations . I’m not your friend, I paid you in full . Your invoices and confirmation videos plus apology texts from you & your team are with Bar OJ . I’m not a social media person . I don’t chase clout on social media. I’m a real life person. Ogbeni I am giving you 24 hours to refund my money in full . I won’ t talk about this again !”

He added: “@portablebaeby @babyluvgram let it be on record, so the earth can bear me witness. I’m not going to court and I’m not getting the police involved as well. I need nothing off you, payback what I paid you… 🧜‍♀️ ❌⚔️ 24 hours is all you got.”
