On Sunday, July 23, a logistics personnel named Emmanuel Tegwi was found dead in Nasarawa State. Tegwi, who resided in the Ombi II area (Kwandare road) of Lafia, the state capital, was abducted by gunmen on Sunday night around 10pm.

His lifeless body was found on a nearby farmland. It has been reported that he was shot dead by his assailants, and his corpse was abandoned.

It is reported that prior to the incident, Mr. Tegwi received a phone call from an unknown number on Sunday evening.

He was instructed to take some cash to a specific location for someone to pick up. He left his home, and when he returned, he informed his family members about the caller's request.

He then left his house again and did not return. His family became concerned when he didn't return home for a long time, and they started searching for him

They found his lifeless body on a farm, not far from his residence.
