Euro 2024 host nation Germany has fulfilled their promises after boasting of host and win tournament.

The host nation secured their first 3points in the first leg of the tournament after defeating Scotland 5-1 in the ongoing Euro 2024.

It was a sad day for the English side has it was difficult for them to contain the heat melted on them by the Germans.

A cakewalk first half for the German side  as Florian Wirth opened the scoreline in the 10th minute of the game before Jamal Musiala doubles the lead 9 minutes later. 

The German side can’t stop scoring in the first half as Kai Havertz makes it 3-0 after a penalty was awarded for the host.

Scotland tried to resist the pressure but could only see the back of the net of the German side ones as Niclas Fullkurg makes it 4-1.

Germany continues making waves as Dortmund midfielder Emre Can makes it 5-1 to seal the victory.

Germany now retains the top position of group A as Scotland moves to the last spot of the group.

Germany will now now meet Hungary in the second leg of the Euro 2024 as the second phase of the tournament remains realistic for the host.
