A collision between a loaded trailer and a car on Otedola Bridge, Lagos, has reportedly claimed lives and blocked one side of the Olowopopo Under Bridge, resulting in a major traffic gridlock.

The impact of the collision left the trailer hanging precariously over the under bridge, with its contents strewn across the road.

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) is working to recover the truck and clear the debris, in an effort to clear the obstruction and allow traffic to flow freely.

The accident has caused severe delays and is causing widespread disruption to travel in the area.
