Finidi George Resigns as Super Eagles Head Coach

Toyin Ibitoye, a well-known sports journalist, revealed this information on X a few minutes ago, stating, "News just in: Finidi George @FinidiGeorge_FG has resigned from his @NGSuperEagles manager position."

Finidi, a former Nigerian international and a member of the renowned 1994 Super Eagles team that clinched the nation's second African Cup of Nations title, had only taken on the head coach position last month.

His resignation follows the NFF's announcement of its search for a foreign Technical Adviser after a series of disappointing World Cup Qualifier results.

Neither the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) nor Finidi George has officially confirmed his resignation yet.
