Flamingo Air Beech craft plane reportedly had a crash landing in Blackpoint, Exuma, after an apparent failure of its landing gear.

The plane, which had departed from New Providence, slid off the runway, but thankfully no one was injured. Passengers were shaken by the incident, but help arrived quickly.

Although the cause of the landing gear failure is unknown, an investigation is underway to determine what happened.

This is a sobering reminder of the potential dangers of air travel, but we're glad to hear that everyone is safe.
