Renowned food critic, Opeyemi Famakin, has made a startling accusation against Cubana Chief Priest, claiming the socialite threatened his life after he published a negative review of his son's restaurant in Owerri.

"I received a disturbing message from Cubana Chief Priest, warning me to retract my review or face dire consequences," Famakin revealed in an interview. 

"As a food critic, I have a responsibility to provide honest feedback, and I won't be intimidated by threats."

Famakin's review, which criticized the restaurant's service and food quality, apparently didn't sit well with Cubana Chief Priest, who allegedly took to social media to express his displeasure. 

"You think you can just come to Owerri and disrespect my family's business?" Cubana Chief Priest allegedly messaged Famakin. "I'll show you what we do to people like you."

Famakin, however, remains unfazed, stating, "I stand by my review, and I won't be bullied into silence. 

“Food critics play a crucial role in ensuring restaurants maintain high standards, and I won't compromise my integrity."

The incident has sparked a heated debate about the role of food critics and the boundaries of free speech. 

As one commentator noted, "Threats against critics are unacceptable and only serve to undermine the credibility of the establishment in question."

Famakin's courage in speaking out against the alleged threat has earned him widespread support, with many calling for Cubana Chief Priest to apologize and respect the critic's opinion.
