Governor of Oyo State Seyi Makinde has reacted to the claim of the Senate President Godswill Akpabio that a whopping amount of N30,000,000,000 has been given to all the governors of each state to curb the appalling hunger that’s in the country.

Governor Seyi Makinde who revealed himself as the deputy Governor of “Governors Forum” in the country, has stated that there’s nothing of such amount of money disbursed to the state Governors.

Seyi Makinde who also urge the senate President to do his thorough research before dissemination an information especially this period when things are extremely tough.

According to Governor Seyi Makinde, he said while address the people of Oyo State amid the hunger loom that has enveloped the country “There is nothing like N30billion giving to governors as claimed by the number 3 citizen of the country.

“Since the senate President claimed it’s an unverified report why then disseminating it, cause this can lead to serious chaos in the country.

“If their is no clue again let’s listen to what the citizens are giving to us as a way out.”

Nigeria still battles with the massive defect of the free fall of Naira, due to devaluation of the currency, which has led to the severe hike in price of commodities in the country.
