As the conflict in the Gaza Strip continues, the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) has dropped leaflets over Beit Lahia warning residents to leave their homes and go to shelters.

The leaflets state that the IDF is not interested in harming civilians, but that anyone in close proximity to Hamas terrorists or terrorist targets is putting themselves in danger.

The leaflets are part of the IDF's efforts to minimize civilian casualties, but they also serve as a reminder of the immense devastation and suffering being inflicted on the people of Gaza.

It adds: "Don't return to your homes until further notice from the Israeli Defence Forces. Leave all public and known shelters in the city of Gaza."

The warning continues, " Do not approach from the security wall, and whoever does so is risking their lives."
