IGP Egbetokun Inaugurates Multi-Million Naira Hospital Wards and Physiotherapy Department in Oyo State Police Command, Calls for Infrastructural Development.

The Inspector General of Police, IGP Olukayode Egbetokun, officially opened new hospital wards and a physiotherapy department in the Oyo State Police Command on Sunday.

He emphasized the importance of improving infrastructure in police commands nationwide to support the well-being of officers.

During the project unveiling, Egbetokun highlighted the commitment of police leadership to prioritizing the health of its persons.

He encouraged the medical team within the police force to identify and implement projects that would not only benefit officers but also the wider community.

Egbetokun said, “This project will be of benefit to the police and the general public. The building, which is named after me, is made up of seven wards, and the physiotherapy unit was completed in a record time.

“I am enjoining all commands across the country to follow suit. Also, I want to thank the leadership of the Oyo command for adequate provision of lives and property.”
