In a shocking turn of events, the Lagos State Police Command has arrested a man who has been impersonating a police commissioner.
The command's spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the arrest on Monday, September 11, during a press briefing on the recent successes of the command.
The suspect, simply identified as Emmanuel, was arrested on September 2 at a police formation in Ikorodu, where he had introduced himself as a police commissioner.
This case is yet another reminder of the dangers of impersonation and the need for increased vigilance in the face of such fraud.
