Tensions are rising in Aisegba, Gbonyin LGA of Ekiti State, as two weeks after paying a ransom, kidnappers have yet to release their victims.
Families and friends of the victims are understandably worried about their well-being, and the whole situation is unsettling the community.
This is a truly heartbreaking situation for the families involved, and it's understandable that they're upset after going through so much effort to pay the ransom, only to not see their loved ones released.
It's also concerning that there has been no response from the authorities so far.
The Amotekun Corps' efforts to rescue the victims are admirable, but it's not clear if they'll be able to track down the kidnappers.
Keepin' our fingers crossed for a positive outcome here.
