In a plenary session on August 23, the Lagos State House of Assembly conducted the confirmation of 22 out of the 39 commissioner nominees forwarded for screening and confirmation by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

The Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, noted that the confirmation was based on the findings of an ad hoc committee led by the Chief Whip of the House, Hon. Fatai Mojeed, after a rigorous and detailed screening of the nominees.

The confirmation was carried out via a voice vote, with 17 of the nominees rejected.

The Lagos State House of Assembly has confirmed 22 of the 39 commissioner nominees put forward by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for screening and confirmation.

Those confirmed by the Assembly are Layode Ibrahim, Mr Mobolaji Ogunlende, Dr Dolapo Fasawe, Bola Olumegbon, Mr Idris Aregbe, Ms Abisola Olusanya, Mr Moruf Fatai, Mr Kayode Bolaji-Roberts, Engr.
