According to a notice issued by the Lagos State Parking Authority (LASPA), the scheme will take effect in October and will also enforce measures against indiscriminate parking.

The notice, addressed to the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), urged compliance with the directive, without disclosing the specific fees to be charged.

This move is seen as a bid to regulate parking in the metropolis and generate revenue for the state government.
