Patience Ozokwo dey emotional as she dey receive AMVCA Merit Award:
Veteran Nollywood actress, Patience Ozokwo, don dey overwhelmed with tears of joy as she dey receive the prestigious Industry Merit Award at the recently concluded AMVCA ceremony.
The beloved actress, wey una dey call “Mama G,” dey completely surprise when Dem honour am with the esteemed award.
In her emotional acceptance speech, Patience don share how she dey convinced by fellow actor Charles Inojie to attend the event, unaware of the recognition awaiting her.
She don go her Instagram account, Patience don express her gratitude and she don promise to write a heartfelt appreciation post to everyone wey dey involved.
However, for the time being, she still need some time make she recover from the shock of the award.
Earlier in the day, Patience don face several obstacles, including a canceled flight from Benin and a delayed flight from Asaba.
Despite these challenges, she still don manage to make it to Lagos, thanks to the encouragement of Charles Inojie.
In her Instagram post, Patience wrote;
“A few hours ago, I was telling my daughter that I might not make it to Lagos because of the canceled flight and the delayed last flight out of Asaba. I had just attended a family wedding in the East on Friday and barely made it back to Lagos. Thanks to @charlesinojie for encouraging me to come. For now, let me rest. My speech will come later.”
