The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) has sealed a club in Lagos State for violating environmental regulations and causing noise pollution.

The Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, announced the closure in a statement on his social media account.

The club, which was not named, had allegedly been operating in violation of environmental regulations and causing noise pollution that was negatively impacting the quality of life for residents in the area.

Sharing pictures he said, "As I directed, the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency #LasepaOfficial conducted a nighttime enforcement operation, leading to the closure and sealing of Silk Club at 190, Awolowo Road, Ikoyi due to noise pollution.
