In a recent crackdown on environmental violations, the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) sealed two establishments, Wine Library and Buzz Bar, in the Victoria Island area of Lagos State.
According to LASEPA, the action was taken due to noise pollution and other environmental violations.
The Lagos State Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, reportedly authorized the crackdown.
LASEPA shared photos of the sealed establishments on its official Twitter account, further highlighting the importance of compliance with environmental regulations in the state.
The caption read, "In a determined effort to combat noise pollution and address environmental violations, LASEPA has taken decisive action.
"We hereby announce the sealing off of two establishments, Wine Library and Buzz Bar, both situated in Victoria Island, Lagos.
"This directive was issued by the Honorable Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, #tokunbo_wahab."
