The Super Eagles camp in Uyo is buzzing with excitement as 14 players have arrived ahead of the crucial 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Benin Republic and Rwanda.

"We're ready to work hard and make Nigeria proud," said Alex Iwobi, who joined camp on Tuesday morning alongside Calvin Bassey and Frank Onyeka. "The AFCON qualifiers are crucial, and we can't afford to slip up."

The trio's arrival brings the total number of players in camp to 14, with nine more expected to join later today. 

The team's coach, Jose Peseiro, is delighted with the players' enthusiasm and dedication.

"I'm impressed with the players' attitude and commitment," Peseiro said. "We have a tough task ahead, but I believe in this team's potential."

The Super Eagles will face Benin Republic on September 8 and Rwanda on September 12 in their AFCON 2025 qualifying fixtures. 

With the team's morale high, fans are optimistic about their chances.
