The Ondo State Police Command has arrested a 30-year-old man, Olamilekan Afeez, for allegedly assaulting a police officer on duty in Okeigbo.

A video circulating on social media showed the man slapping the police officer in front of onlookers at Ago Jedi T junction.

The reason for the altercation is still unclear, but the Ondo State Police Command has condemned the assault and warned members of the public against such behavior.

They reiterated the need for members of the public to respect law enforcement officers who are working to keep the community safe.
