The defending champion of the premier league Manchester City has given Arsenal another unpleasant responsibility to fight for the league title on Sunday after defeating Tottenham hotspur at home 2goals to nil.

Arsenal who sees Tottenham to be their possible savior in helping them to stop Manchester City has been disappointed after the host conceded two solid goals from the three times in a row champions.

It was a terrific first half which ended in goalless draw, before the citizens goal stunner Erling Haaland sighted the back of the net in the 51st minute of the second half to put the visitor on the lead.

On the 90th minute of the game Erling Haaland doubled the lead making it 2-0 in favour of the Citizens to light up their quest of lifting the premier league cup 4 times in a row.

Arsenal will need to defeat Everton at Emirates stadium as they will also bank on West Ham’s victory over Manchester City at the Etihad stadium.
