The 60-year-old, who previously managed Hellas Verona, is anticipated to sign a two-year contract with an option for a third year, as reported by Il Messaggero and Football Italia.

Baroni is expected to earn over €1 million annually, plus bonuses, during his time with the Biancocelesti.

Tudor resigned after only three months due to differences in vision with the club’s management.
His brief tenure followed the resignation of Maurizio Sarri in March.

According to President Claudio Lotito, Tudor wanted to make significant changes to the squad, including replacing around eight first-team players, which contributed to his departure.

Lotito emphasized that qualifying for Europe is a basic expectation for Lazio and assured fans that the club has clear plans for the future, signaling Baroni’s forthcoming appointment.
