Leicester City has reportedly approached Maurizio Sarri to replace Enzo Maresca, who is expected to join Chelsea this summer.

However, Sportitalia reveals that the former Lazio coach is not interested in the Leicester role, as he awaits more appealing offers.

Sarri, who left Lazio in March, is taking his time selecting his next club. He has been linked with Fiorentina, Bologna, and Panathinaikos but has yet to make any commitment.

Leicester City, recently promoted back to the Premier League after topping the Championship, hoped Sarri’s experience, including his Europa League victory with Chelsea, would be a good fit. Despite their storied history with Italian managers, such as Claudio Ranieri's remarkable Premier League victory in the 2015/16 season, Sarri remains uninterested in joining the Foxes at this time.
