Joshua Agboola, a 13-year-old Nigerian programmer, has made history as the youngest person in Africa to become a Certified Amazon Web Services (AWS) Developer Associate.

The grueling examination tested Joshua's ability to deploy, troubleshoot, and develop on the AWS cloud platform, and he passed with flying colors.

This incredible achievement highlights the potential of young talent in Nigeria and across Africa.

Agboola said he was inspired to pursue his AWS Developer Associate certification after scoring a perfect 100% on his AWS Cloud Practitioner exam earlier in the year.

With the encouragement of his father, Agboola decided to take the next step and test his skills in a more advanced certification exam.

Even though he had an interest in DevOps, he chose to pursue the Solutions Architect Associate certification, which he saw as a natural progression from the Cloud Practitioner exam.
