The National Assembly has launched an investigation into the alleged mismanagement of N183 billion in COVID-19 funds allocated to the Federal Government by the President Muhammadu Buhari administration.

The House of Representatives initiated the probe, which will examine how the funds were spent by various ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs). The investigation is intended to ensure that the funds were properly used and accounted for, and to prevent the mismanagement of public funds.

It is expected to be a thorough and comprehensive review of the use of COVID-19 funds by the Federal Government.
